Laga embroidered handbags are individually handmade by survivors of the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia. Our primary goal is to provide these disaster victims with a hope for a better future by giving them training, employment and income with which they can sustain themselves. Our stunning handcrafted hand-bags are more than fashionable accessories. They are hope and help, in the form of exquisitely hand-crafted pieces of art. Each handbag sewn and sold brings hope for a better tomorrow.
Together, we’re helping women around the world: from the Indonesian women proudly and carefully sewing each handbag, to the Laga Consultants working from home as our sales force.
